Buying land

Has anyone ever done it before? What is it like? How much did it cost (if you want to say) How much did you get? Did you build on it too?

We did. The land was only about 100k then our house ended up costing 226k but it's custom to everything we want.

Wish I could help. We have 144 acres, but it was given to us. It's land that's been passed down through generations since the land rush. We won't build on it, other than the stash and bunker. We lease it to a rancher.

We live Bonney Lake, it's near the mountain. The cost of living isn't so bad and there are a lot of jobs in the puget sound area. We love it

Who do you get a land loan from? I know like for houses it's Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac right?

I've never heard of any of those places! Lol ill have to look into them. SO wants to end up buying a house in Washington but I'm not sure how I feel about Vancouver. Which is where we're probably going to go this summer.
