Not petty at all. I'd block him (after creeping on his friends list to be sure he wasn't friends with any little girls). Definitely don't let your Mom talk you into adding him. Sorry your family went through something like this.

My mother doesn't believe me that I was molested. So this doesn't surprise me that this is possible.

My grandpa molested my sister when she was younger, I was only about one. I never spoke to the man a day in my life after we found out about it. And my mom damn sure did not let us around the man.

Ugh!! No. You're not wrong, at all. You're not allowing someone in your life who is sick and dangerous. That's not wrong at all. No, he didn't hurt you, but I gaurntee he did something irrepairable to your sister, and who's to say or know he wouldn't do the same again? Block him. Make sure he's not friends with anyone he can see your profile from. If you get a friend request from someone you're not sure of, don't take it. You're aboslutely doing the right thing. The last thing your beautiful little lady needs around is someone like that.
