Kids Clothes Vent

posted 3rd Jan
Ok...this is just me being grumpy and hormonal. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I smurfing HATE when kids clothes come together as an outfit...like, a pants and shirt that can only be purchased together. UGH! My daughter wears a 4t top, but a 2t-3t bottom. So, when I buy a top that will fit her, the pants are so big they don't, and when I buy pants that fit, the shirt won't even go on her. It's so frustrating when I find a super adorable outfit that can't be purchased piece by piece.

I know that feeling. Katy is just moving into a 12-18 month pants and is still in a 3-6 sometimes 6-12 top.

Do what i do. Switch out the pants with a smaller size before you take it to the counter. The cashiers never check and you get what you're paying for.

My friend used to swap it around with the others hanging up :S Like she'd get a 2t and get another one and take the 3t bottoms off and take them.

I was like, now someones gonna get mad when they buy that lol

That's exactly why I don't do it...I've been the person to purchase the smurfed outfit before, and it's infuriating lol

I also always check the sizes on everything I purchase to be sure Im getting what I need. I dont know why people get mad about accidentally buying a mismatch outfit. Pay a little attention and that doesnt happen.

Or, if people didn't smurf with smurf, they could just buy stuff as it was packaged.

In any other part of the store, would you change the way something is packaged because you didn't like half of it? Doubtful.

Other cloths, yes. Items? No, too much effort. The way I see it is If im going to spend money on something, Im going to make sure I get what I want and need. Seems more logical than getting pissed over them not doing it for you.

You know how much money smurf like that costs stores? Why should I have to check every article of clothing to make sure some smurf didnt go change smurf around. Either buy two outfits or stick to separates.

You're smurfing up their product, costing the store money and thus raising the prices of the items. It's incredibly smurfing selfish.

Right?! I had them refuse to take it back once even because the sizes were mismatched, and I was stuck with the damn outfit that didn't work.
