How many times?

Curious to see how many times you changed LO's name before finding one that fit? SO and I had a name picked out and everyone made a big deal about keeping it a secret and then since we recently decided officially on something it's like the end of the world! We started with Molly but LO will be Everly Rayne when she gets here in a few weeks.

We stuck with the same name that we picked the first time.

I found it and I was hooked instantly!

Once. He was going to be Corbin, but ended up Ezekiel.

Didn't. with either.

I have Everly and Everleigh ;]

My dd started off as a marley, then a grace, annabelle, rose, margerie, and finally when she was here we picked Jillian Claire and it stuck. I'm only 22 weeks 2 days now and this baby has been about 12 different names so far.

Once. She was going to be Evelyn. I knew it wasn't right for her. I woke up one morning and just knew she was Matilda. So that's what we named her. It wasn't even on our list.

With my daughter a bunch of times, but with my soon twice

With Abigail, she was Abigail, Aubriella yuck!, then Abigail again

With Ariadne, it was between Ariadne and Lucille. Either way it was going to be Ariadne Lucille or Lucille Ariadne. I went with Ariadne.

How do you go from something so lovely and simple as Molly and do a complete turn around to something that isn't even a name?

You should go back to Molly.

we changed it once. we were set on Starlee Ashley. then i hit like 8 months pregnant and we changed it completely lol we just found "the one".

i still love the name Starlee, but the spelling always looks off no matter which way i spell it.

my DD's name fits her perfectly though.

Your opinion is just that. Sorry I'm not a fan of naming my child a name that everyone I meet says is their dogs name plus it didn't go with my last name. I can't picture my child being 40 with the name molly.

Molly didn't remind me of a dogs name until you juts said it lol
i like the name Molly though, but it sounds kinda nickname-y to me.
