Dry scalp during pregnancy?

Anyone else experience dry scalp during their pregnancy? I've been trying a few different shampoos to get it under control, nothing seems to work.

yeah ive got a serious dry scalp, i rub baby oil onto my scalp and leave it for a few hours then wash out after, i do this once or twice and week and ive noticed my flakey scalp started to clear up.

Does that leave your hair oily though? If i don't wash my hair everyday, it gets super oily now.. yet with the dry scalp. ;[

Maybe try leaving it a day without washing it because the constant washing to deal with oil is taking the natural oils from your scalp and drying it out

Oh i've tried, multiple times. It just ends up a greasy, flaky mess. ; /

tbh i shower everyday so i end up washing it everyday anyway, when i use baby oil i wash it then repeat straight away for the just incase. i hate greasy looking hair however i dont mind being hidden in the house for 2 hours with oily hair as its better than going out with white flakes in your hair. hahahah
ive tried all the medicated shampoos and nothing worked.. but this worked wonders.

Have tou tried dry shampoo? It absorbs the oil out of the hair but it wouldn't dry the scalp, I don't think?

Yes, I did, but my boyfriend said it made my hair look worse. ;/ I don't know. I had dry scalp before pregnancy, but it was under control with just store-bought shampoos. now, not so much.

Try Redken All Soft.. I love it, and it's supposed to be good for dry scalp... it makes my hair really soft too.

I have dry hair, and it made my hair silky soft. I told my husband who has flakes to use it on his hair because it says it's also good for dry scalp. You can get it at Ulta Beauty for a decent price, I got a litter, it was on sale for 16.99... not bad for salon products.

I have big patches of skin that come off. I have dry skin everywhere!
