I was told the same thing. My Hcg levels were at 41 and my "uterus was empty". 6 weeks later I see my OB because I didn't get a period after my miscarriage. Come ti find out I was 11wks pregnant and never had a miscarriage (you can go thru my threads on my profile, it was surreal). Now I have a baby girl who's about to be 1 on Saturday. Don't give up just yet. You never know what can happen. I wish you the best.

what!? That would be cool! Were you 41 at 5 weeks? I dont think there's hope for me cuz I got my first positive 13 days ago and I my hormone level was only 21   when did you get your first positive?

Hey just read you miscarriage post
I was wondering did you spot or anything cuz I have been spotting but not actually bleeding yet.

Don't count yourself out yet, a friend of mine had SUPER low levels at that gestation and the US showed just a yolk i believe.. they said to get a d&c and she said no. two weeks later she went back to get a u/s and baby was there!! 5 weeks is too early to see anything on US other than maybe a yolk sac. when i went at what was supposed to be 8 weeks they said i was only 6 weeks and there was a little circle and nothing else.. they said i would end up miscarrying because i was profusely bleeding... WELL, i kept bleeding til 17 weeks but i have a healthy 2 1/2 year old from that pregnancy

I didn't get my first positive til I was 5 weeks. I literally had my BFP 2 days before I started to spot blood. I went to the ER cuz I was bleeding and they told me I had a 'complete miscarriage'. According to that hospital NOTHING was in my uterus. I wish you luck. I hope it's not a loss.

How much did you bleed? It started out as spotting now I have like a full period. Not heavy really just normal

It started out with spotting and then it was as if I had a period. I never had clots or excessive bleeding, like I always read about. But, a DOCTOR told me I wasn't pregnant anymore, and I believed it. It took me 6 wks to see a doc and realize I was still pregnant. I still had pregnancy symptoms. I honestly should of known. I got drunk when I was 10wks pregnant. Though I didn't know I was pregnant, and my daughter is 100% fine and healthy 1 year old now, I still feel bad about it.

Wow that's a cool story   and dont feel bad you really didn't know at the time. I just went and got blood taken from the lab to see if my hormones went down or not. I dont have much hope for myself even though this is an awesome story. Cuz I found out I was pregnant Dec. 23rd with a very faint test then it did get alot darker. But January 3rd when it all started my hormones were only 21 I would think even if I wasn't as far along as I thought my hormones should be higher than that
