Healthy snacks
posted 3rd Jan
I thought I'd add this on here so people can add to it. I've a huge problem with night time snacking ie sitting watching tv. I really do have the intention of NOT eating after my evening meal but I get grumpy and feel like I'm missing out
I love some more ideas, I like frozen blueberries, but I'm a chocolate and crisps (chips to you lol) fan so some ideas like those but healthier obvs,
I'm going to start drinking green tea so I have the warmth of that.
Anything else guys?

Fruit, raw veggis with dip for crunch. Handful of nuts work well too. Oh and get dark chocolate, healthier then regular. Popcorn you buy as kernals and pop it in pan over stove good fiber. Baked pretzels can be yummy.

You could do rice cakes, they come in a chocolate flavor... I usually keep a bag around my house for when I'm craving sweets.
Also:
-yogurt
-tangerines
-celery
-carrots with light or ff dip
-cucumber slices
-apples
-banana's
-applesauce
-snap peas
-pistachios, or nuts in general

Just keep lots of veggies cut up in the fridge. You can try a rice cake with a small amount of almond butter or almonds. Eat a Greek yogurt or some cottage cheese

Pretzels
Baked potato chips
Rice cakes ( they have cheddar, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon)
90 calorie packs, they have sweets and salty stuff
Popcorn
Skinny cow ice cream
Peanut butter and celery or apples
Grapes
Pita crackers and hummus
Bananas, honey and peanut butter. Mix the peanut butter and honey and sandwich between slices of banana. It might of used cinnamon too (I found this on pinterest)
Graham Crackers
Hershey Dark Chocolate kisses ( I think 6 are 100 calories)
I like to dip pretzels into lo fat cream cheese, usually the garden vegetable from Philadelphia, it is really good.
Low fat Mozzarella cheese
