When buying a new (or used) car

Do you have to pay the tax, title, license and service fee up front? Or is this added onto the price of everything you pay for with your monthly payment?

Here you have to pay it all when you register the car. Mine was $150 something for my 2000 Hyundai. My dad paid $800 something for his new truck.

Usually they can tie it into your total. Or you can transfer plates if you are replacing a car.

You have to go to the DMV or revenue office after you buy the car and pay those fees to get it registered and plated.

Here you have to pay it within 45 days of purchase if you didn't include it in the loan. I don't know if that's how everywhere works.

The cost of title and license is included. Taxes are billed 90 days later.

All the dealerships around here you add the price on the total and they get the plate and stuff for you, you don't even have to go worry about getting it.

Here it depends on where you get the car. At a dealership its rolled in. At a 'tote the note' place you make your down payment plus tt&l
