re: how far apart is your kids?

My son turned 3 in December and I'm due in February (but may be induced Jan 11)... So, they are about 3 years apart, which is wonderful for me... My son understands that I have a baby in my tummy and old enough to help out with feedings.

4 years. I wish we'd been able to have them closer together but it just wasn't feasible. My son is having a really hard time adjusting.

It all depends on you, my DD's are 4years and 8 months apart which i love but myself and my younger sister are 16 years apart.
It all depends on what gap you would be comfortable with.

was having them both in diapers hard? My brother and i are 21 months apart. My mother said it was difficult
but wasnt to hard to handle.

so glad to hear this!!!!!!!! Ours will be almost 4 years apart and the way talk is how Im hoping it will be  

My daughter is 5, and we'll start TTC this summer, so she'll be 6 when the next is born.Ideally we wanted 4 years, but we went through several losses and then a deployment.

My son and this baby will be 23 months apart. We were aiming for a two year gap so it worked out almost perfectly  

my girls are 2.5 yrs apart and and youngest and this one will be 4.5 yr apart. I would of like another 2.5 yr apart but didnt work out that way

No, not really. My kids stick around in size 4 and 5s until potty trained and they get into size 4 or 5s pretty quickly so I only had a few months of buying more than one size. I think the hardest part of the whole thing was I was waking up every 2-3 hours with a newborn and then spent the rest of the day chasing around an active toddler.

If your first pregnancy was high risk did it change your mind at all with wanting them close?

I can only speak for my mom, but she tried to have all of us spaced out four years. I was born August 1991, my brother was born July 1995 and the oops child that is my younger brother was born in March 1998, lol.

We both want 3 possibly four children and be done having kids by the time im 30. Im 22 now with my son so i have 8 more years to make two or three more babies. i think i rather have the first two close together and then have the third and fourth once my first is in school. i just dont want them too close.

I have 4 kids and there are 4 1/2 years between #1 and #4. I absolutely love the chaos I put myself into.

I love the chaos! I normally work in Daycares and plan to have my own someday. Having them close in age wont really bother me. i think it will be more the pregnancys and the fact that someday I will work all day with a classroom of multi-age children and then do it all night too with my babies. I dnt want to over do myself.
