could this be ppd

Ok so me and my ex tried to concieve my 7 day old babygirl, we also have a 4 yr old daugher. During my 3 rd month of pregnancy he left me for a "friend" of mine (some friend) and now has her pregnant. Anyways since my daughter has been born he hasnt seen.her or even.asked anything about her. Ive sent him a few pics of both the girls asking him to see them but he just mainly ignores me. I told him today i put in a application for child support for my daughter and he said he would never again be in their lives. How do i manage the emotional hurt from this, i feel like i've failed my children and it has brought me to tears all day today. How can i cope or could this be ppd?

Not ppd. I went through something similar and felt I failed my children also. Over time you will get strong and know you are not the one who failed them he is.

Not PPD. But you will be strong. You haven't failed them.

Don't feel bad, sweetie... my ex has twov other kids besides my son... he hasn't seen ds in two, going on three years. If he don't want anything to do with his kids, you can't force him. This isn't ppd... just keep your head up. Its his loss, not yours or the babies. Yes, every child deserves a daddy... but not like that... one that actually cares for them and wants to be there

I know it is, hon... trust me. When ds was first born. I used to bbq literally beg him to come see his son. After a while I realized you can't make a father out of a little boy. It gets better, promise. If you just need someone to talk to, I'll be here.
