Best BC

posted 3rd Jan
What is the best BC that works pretty good.

I have in the past used the little pills, forgot half the time to take them, then got back on Depo the shot. It made me gain weight, and then after getting of it for a couple years of taking it, i didnt have a period at all.

I hear the Mirena is really good.

No BC works the same for every woman, so you are going to probably get a lot of mixed answers

Mirena all the way, got it after lexi and it didnt hurt being put in,had it for 3 years and we decided to try again so got it removed and that was pain free. also had no periods or problems.
sorry for tmi but he finished all the time inside and never got prego or infected....
some people say they get cramps after it is put in or removed so could be different with every women.
got it removed in feb 2012 and got prego in april 2012=)
most bc is difficult like the pills you can forget sometimes to take em and i had the depo when younger and it messed me up (gained alot of weight)

I use the mini pill now because its cheap and I got really sick when I was senior in high school and it caused liver issues with what I was on but I have tried pretty much everything other than Depo and IUD's.

I LOVED Nuva Ring. I would just set a reminder on my phone for when to take it out and when to put a new one in and have it repeat monthly. Couldn't feel it during sex, but my SO said he could sometimes (it didn't bother him, he said it felt good lol).

The patch got annoying. It kept coming off and depending on where I had it stuck it would pull the top layer of skin off (didn't hurt or anything just like a band aid does sometimes). You also have to rotate where you put it and I couldn't find enough places I felt hid it well enough.

I found a diaphragm annoying more than anything and I could feel it (your aren't supposed to be able too).

Hope that helped message me if you want.
