Breast feeding and pinching

My 6 month old is going through a phase right row where she pinches constantly. Especially when she's nursing. She grabs on to my skin with her tiny hands and holds on soooooo tight, it hurts like a bitch. I have no idea what to do. She won't let me put mits on her or hold her hands, she flips out. If you went through this, what did you do?

Buy a nursing necklace for her to play with while she nurses.

Unlatch her. Remove her hand say "No we dont pinch mommy it hurts"

Get a nursing necklace she can play with. My DD tried to rip my other nipple the other day. Luckily now she seems more focused on pulling my shirt collars!

Welcome.   My LO does the same thing. She loves her necklace now though! Lifesaver.

Gah dd did that. I'd get so pissed. It hurt so bad and sent shooting pain up my ducts. Idk why they freaking do that!

Lmao!! She would get pissy with me too when I stopped her. She'd almost like do a growl thing and if I don't give it back shed unlatch and scream.

DS is also 6 months old but his thing is kicking while nursing, ugh. So I have to hold his legs in between mine.
