My baby had a dimple like that when he was born. Every time the nurses came in to check on us in the hospital they checked that first. His pedi still checks the spot even though the dimple isn't really there anymore, just this blotchy red mark.

If it is hurting you that bad I would go and get it checked out, what would it hurt? Or give your doctor a call and see what they think?

I had a boyfriend with this. He would get horrific cysts in it that would cause a lot of pain that would need to be drained. I would def. suggest getting it looked at hun.

it's your sciatic nerve...I had that pain when I was pregnant with my son..
the sciatic pain(like a bruised or very sore tailbone) is common but if you've had a history of that dimple being infected and seeping I'd have that checked at the next OB appointment

I was born with a dimple like that. It turned into a cyst when I got older and needed to be drained.

DD was born with a dimple like that. They always check it when she goes to her pedi, but it's disappearing now.

Mine hasn't disappeared, it's stayed the same since I was born... I called and they said to go into emerg because it has nothing to do with my OB unfortunately

That is most likely a sinus from a palonidal cyst (sp). Mine abscessed because it wouldn't make a sinus and the doctor had to make a sinus for me. They suck. Some day I will get my cyst removed along with the surrounding tissue and hopefully have it all closed up.
Eta: pilonidal cyst. There we go lol

Yeah it's hurting but I don't wanna sit in emerg for hours and hours if there's nothing seriously wrong

A ruptured cyst is something seriously wrong and it needs to be taken care of and you may need antibiotics, they can get infected and with it being so close to your spine, that is a big no no

ed at? When I was younger my mom always had to check my back for infections or any fluid seeping out of it."

I have it I went through testing and after months I have Spina Bifida Occulta, it is the Spina Bifida that heals its self. Believe it or not, after my pregnancy with Donovan , it doesnt bother me half as much.

Are you still pregnant? If so, call the dr immediately and explain to them. Let them decide.
