Question about getting tubes tied?

Are u able to get your tubes tied for now, and untie them later when your ready for another child? Or is this permanent?

Ummmmm it's pretty freaking permanent. If you're unsure an iud or something else would be better.

Most of the time permanent, its not guaranteed the reversal will work... why not get a iud instead?

It can be reversed, but the reversal doesn't always work.

A tubal ligation should never be done unless you are certain you don't want anymore children. It is called permanent birth control for a reason. A doctor will not perform it if you express you will want it reversed eventually.

Get an IUD, implant or something.

I have had the Paraguard twice (for 3 years before baby #1 and for 1.5 years after). I like it a lot, but it does cause heavier, crampier period for many women.

I got my tubes tied after I gave birth to my third child. I am 34 and sure I don't want anymore children. My OB asked twice during my c- section if I was sure I was done. If you want more children then tubal ligation isn't for you.
