Flea as a name?

Pronounced as "Flay-ah"
I also like classic names like Mitilda, Martha, Gertrude, Agnes, Bertha, Bernice, etc..
Suggestions or comments?

i think of little bugs.

I would just spell it Flaya or similar otherwise that kid will be called a louse their whole life.

That will forever be "Fl-EE" to me. And those names are very dated to me. Not a huge fan.

Don't name your kid Flea.
A friend of mine goes by that as a nickname, but she's also an adult and it's just a nickname.

That is horrible.

I think of the guy from RHCP. And while he is awesome, I would not name my child after him

Matilda is okay, with tilda as a nickname (Lilys friend has this nickname). But the rest of the names make me think of old white ladies or fat beached whale ladies.

I like classic names. Matilda would be nice. Anything but Gertrude and Bertha off of your list.

No. That only works for Flea in RHCP.  

I like Matilda. What about Beatrice? I like it when its pronounced Bee-ah-tress. Tress like in trespassing.

It looks like the bug...so no way. That would be awful for a child. Flay uh isn't much better. Some old names are nice but none of those..

There is also Flarya I like that one
