11 month old won't take bottle/formula
posted 3rd Jan
I'm kinda concerned with my DD. She will not take any formula today. I'm not sure formula it is bad or what? I think she isn't feeling well because she has had diarrhea the past 3 days. Today is the first day she won't take a bottle though. She makes a face like it is gross. Should I call the Pedi? She is 11 months today. She is eating food fine and I have been offering water. She is also teething really bad.

Will she take pedialyte??

Probably. I haven't tried. The formula just became an issue today. She is eating food and drinking water ok. but is seriously hating her formula all of a sudden.

maybe she's done with the bottle...try a sippy cup. And as long as she's eating and drinking water I wouldn't worry about calling the pedi. My daughter is 12 months and hates milk.

maybe. It's just all of a sudden and she makes a face when she drinks it, like this is disgusting. She won't take formula in a sippy either. Do you think I should start cows milk. Now, I worry about nutrition if she keeps this up.

I'm no Dr. but I started my daughter on cows milk early. I don't see a problem with it especially if she doesn't want formula...I say try it and if she tolerates it its probably ok.

YEah, I honestly don't blame her. Formula is sooo gross. But she is having diarrhea too.

try and get her to drink pedilayte as long as shes drinking and eating shes fine. she might be done with drinking the formula some kids just take themselfs of off it. my son a week after he turned a year old decided he didnt want anything to do with formula or the bottle anymore and he completely stopped taking it

I would give her a sippry with pedialyte, Maks got sick around 4-5 month didn't want his milk, my mom bought him a nuk sippy with handles, and gave him pedilyte in it he was soo excited to have this new thing, he drank every flavor we gave him he loved that sippy lol
Esp because she need the electrolytes, poor baby, I would hold off on reg milk and introducing it while she's sick and under 12 months, she could be over the bottle or just knows the milk is going to make her explode, keep her hydrated hang in there...
