We never got officially engaged. One day we just went down to the courthouse and tied the knot. We didn't tell anyone until after the fact. We left our daughter with her grandparents and told them we were going shopping, lol. We got married, then went to Olive Garden for lunch. Nothing fancy, but in the end, the outcome is the same.

We got married in vegas.
Parents threw us a dinner reception two months later at their house and we had it catered. Still got to wear my gown and have the dancing but we asked for no gifts since we didnt get married that day and didnt want to make them feel like we only wanted stuff from them. (People still came with gifts lol)

I guess you could say we had the traditional wedding. We were married in church and then had the typical reception/dance afterward.

We had a traditional ceremony outside with a big reception... it was in a state park so we had a lot of people that we didn't even know taking pictures and video of our wedding ( I think that is weird but whatever)... only thing that put it a bit over the top was the horse drawn carriage and the fact the guys wore camo... but we pulled it off and I could not be happier :-)

I guess we are having a pretty traditional wedding. We are getting married in a country chapel then have a small reception/bigger afterparty later

We were supposed to have a bigger wedding with family there, but five months before our wedding my husband got transferred for his job.. We lost our deposits and I did not want to replan another wedding. So right before we moved we had a small ceremony at sunset on my aunts dock off of the Gulf
I'm actually glad things worked out the way they did (aside from wasting a bunch of money), we aren't flashy people, small and romantic was perfect.

I want a traditional wedding. Pinterest has TONS of ideas and DIY stuff.
We wanted to go to vegas but with my grandparents and his grandparents health depleting I don't think we can. I think it would ultimately be easier.
Sometimes I just want to go to the courthouse.
