Middle names for Rhys

posted 3rd Jan
Our gender/anatomy scan is on Tuesday and I am so freakin' impatient, haha. DH & I (and almost everyone else) think this one is a boy, and while we have picked out a few names for either a boy or girl, we are almost settled on Rhys if it is in fact a boy. Our top contender for a middle name is William, my husband's name, because we would prefer to use a family name and none of the other options work. However, I am willing to consider non-family names if they REALLY work or I like the meaning enough to sway me. Our last name is two words, 3 syllables and starts with a "V". So...have at it!

Love the name Rhys, and I think a family name is excellent. It flows very nicely as well. If you were looking for different names though I like:

Rhys Michael?
Rhys Thomas?

I agree. Rhys William is nice. I also thought Rhys Atticus, but that is because there is a BG mom on here with two sons named Rhys and Atticus, lol.

Wow! How awesome to get such immediate reinforcement that our initial instincts are right on! Interestingly enough, just this morning (as I started to consider looking at non-family names) Michael was one of the first alternatives to pop into my head. DH didn't go for it, but it's fun to see my brain works similar to the rest of your's

He didn't like it!? He's crazy lol - I think you will be good with either one, William and Michael both sound great to me. But Family names always seem to have a better ring to them.
