Planning a Baby Shower

Have question for you ladies which is the best time start planning a baby shower like from now or later?

Well it is tacky to throw your own, someone else usually plans it for you, if it is for you.

I was due July 15th and had mine with DD the end of May, pretty sure my sister started planning in Febuary or March.

My mom started planning mine when I found out I was pregnant.

Wait for someone to throw it for you. It would be like throwing yourself a birthday party and telling the guests you like Bed Bath and Beyond, The Gap, and Yankee Candles. You have time yet.

My Mom is throwing mine, but she has never thrown a baby shower before, plus she works alot, so she asked me if I could help her with it. I got a little carried away though, and ended up planning most of it lol (I picked the food, theme, and did the invitations). Her and my sister are still gonna set everything up for me on the day of the shower, and she says she has some surprises for me, but other than that I started planning it about 3 weeks ago, and all she has to do now is order the decorations, and set everything up that day. I'd say start about 2 months before the day of the shower so you have time to send out the invitations.

It for me and I am due July 26th but however I am plan on having my baby shower on May 18th. So my husband and I are starting planning the baby shower now.

Yes, I am planinng on doing it myself but however I have my parents and my husband to do all the work while I lay back for while.

I plan on picking theme, place, time of date and invitation to have it but however my parents and my husband is doing decoration and all else.
