Sounds like it. My son HATED laying down and he would scream non stop if I ever put him down. He always had to be held up and down on my shoulder too, he could never be held in the cradle hold.

Take her to the pedi, they can give her medicine to help and I think you can buy something to go in her crib to elevate her a little bit.

I'm no expert...

But my son was the same way when he was a baby and had reflux. His GI doc actually gave us a wedge that was a certain degree angle and "safe" to go under his crib mattress. It worked wonders.

ETA: Also have you tried Gripe Water?

eh.... I started letting my LO sleep on his belly when he was 3 weeks old. He would NOT sleep any other way.

I'm not a fan of car seat sleeping, but if that's what is working, go for it!

I hope she feels better soon.

My son has reflux. Before medication, he hated being flat on his back, he hated his stomach touched and even being on his stomach was hell. We got a swing, so he's always in a semi-upright position at nap time (he won't sleep in his bed at nap time) and at night we have his mattress slightly elevated.
I'd get her checked.
As for your question about what reflux is, I suck at explaining things. Lol

It worked GREAT for us. Took maybe 2 nights and he was sleeping 5-6 hours straight.

My midwife is coming today, I'll say something to her.

In my own experiences with reflux, laying down flat will make me wake up with regurgitated food or stomach acid in my mouth. Its very uncomfortable and burns. Keeping my head elevated helps, a little, but medicine to prevent/treat it is much better. Id def ask the Dr.

Yep tried gripe water, it doesn't help, she has such a hard time bringing her wind up it's not even funny...and to think a midwife told me you don't need to wind them anymore..

I hope you find something that works! A doc might prescribe Zantac or something. But here's the crib wedge I was talking about if you can't find anything else...

I Googled it, and they sell them at WalMart along with everywhere else.
