What dress

posted 3rd Jan
No I am not even engaged yet lol. But what kind of dress would you get if you were to have a courthouse ceremony and then a big fabulous reception? We would want professional pictures done after the ceremony so I would want to make sure the dress is amazing. And for the reception would you get a different wedding dress? I think I would want something elegant yet sexy for the reception lol.

Sheath dresses are my favourite, but they're not for every body type (just like any other dress style).

When I got married I wore a simple dress with lots of accessories. I didn't want a different reception dress because I knew I would never get to wear my wedding dress again. I stayed in it as long as possible

I'd probably do a white satin knee length pencil skirt dress to the ceremony and a bright purple or royal blue satin mermaid style floor length gown with a hip level slit to the reception. I'm mobile so I can't post pics of what I mean but that's what I'd wear. Lol!

I'd wear a 50s dress. Hell, I would probably wear the dress I am already going to be wearing to my wedding.

At a courthouse I'd wear something knee length. I don't understand the point in two different dresses tho lol. If you're gonna spend a fair amount on a gorgeous dress, make use if it and wear it ALLL day. It's not like you could ever wear it again lol

Same here. We even stopped by a store for some errands and a bar to say hi to a friend after the reception and I still wore mine.

I love one shoulder dresses I think they are very pretty, I am just not digging the end of the sleeve bit. It looks like a baggy jersey. That said, it could look entirely different on you and if that's what you want, it's your wedding day!
