crib question

posted 3rd Jan
My son is 7 months old and has always slept in the bed with me because I find that easier since I breastfeed him. Lately it's been hell sharing a bed with him because he sleeps so wild and just does a lot when he sleeps. I was wondering if you guys think it would be a waste of money to purchase him a crib at his age and especially since he has never been in one. When can children start using toddler beds?

I would. My kid slept in hers til after 3. You could also get a convertible one that turns to a toddler bed

In the instructions on my crib, it says you can convert it after 15 months old. I think it just depends on the child, but I wouldn't do it at 7 months. Could you just buy a crib mattress and put on the floor?

The directions on toddler beds say don't use until 15 months. I'd get a crib that converts into a toddler bed.

We held out a yr and used her cknverible crib as a toddler bed. I couldn't stand the thought of putting my baby in a crib.

get a cot/bed. Then you can use it for now and then take the sides off and it's a toddler bed.

My son was about 7 or 8 months when he got his crib
he slept in his play pen before that.

You can buy cribs that convert into a toddler bed and then a full bed. My son still sleeps in his and he's 4.

A crib is a lot safer than putting an infant on a mattress on the floor and one that converts to a toddler bed is a great idea. If you don't want to spend a lot of money you can get a great safe crib at Walmart for about $100.

Get a convertible crib like a 3-in-1 so it can grow with him. One suggestion you can do is possibly get a crib and side-car the crib with your bed. It may make it easier for you and he'll be right there. It all depends on how comfortable you feel about it.
