Quoting lolajessup:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Faith1LovesMLP:</b>" She'll be perfect even if she does need ... [snip!] ... if she does need a little help at first."</blockquote> I know. I mean perfectly developed so she can stay with me "I hope so too. I'm sure everything will turn out just fine.

Quoting lolajessup:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Faith1LovesMLP:</b>" Omg. Is it on right now?"</blockquote> Yeah it's almost the end. On tlc."I found it

He's gonna go with her the whole time to advocate for her and start skin to akin with her."Depending on her size and how early she is born they might insist on giving her some formula through an NG tube until your milk comes in. I didn't find that this caused any issue for my milk coming in or anything. I just pumped until I was able to put baby to breast.
Quoting lolajessup:" <blockquote><b>Quoting twingals:</b>" Depending on her size and how early she is born ... [snip!] ... Not gonna happen. Over my dead body. I she can bf without supplementing she can get pumped milk without it too."For me, mine were born at 34 weeks and they were pretty little. My milk didn't come in for a few days (plus they weren't sure how long it would take the little ones to figure out feeding at that age), so they gave formula through an NG tube almost immediately. They would always give what I got by pumping first and then topped up with formula until I had enough to do exclusively breastmilk. They started attempting to bf after a couple days when they were strong enough, but weren't successfully bf (not requiring a top up by NG tube to gain weight each day) until about a week and a half after they were born.

It would most likely tear her tummy up. Were u bfinG twins?"You won't have to do formula, I'm sure. Just make sure they don't bully you into it, you know how sometimes they like to push it when it isn't needed. I'm sure it would be rough on her little preemie tummy, especially if you guys have problems. Just stay positive. DD was almost full term, but there were lots of times the nurses told me I 'needed' to give formula when I didn't. She's six months old and has never had formula. I have so much milk my freezer is full lol I have so much I could ship you some if you didn't make enough
