How much do you live off of a month and what do you and/or S

Subject line basically says it all. How much do you and or SO bring home monthly? What do you/him do? Do you barely get by, live comfortably but hardly no "extras", or we are able to pay all our bills and then basically go do whatever we want? I know this is a personal question, but just curious what's "comfortable living" to others.

We usually bring home about 3600-3800 a month. We have lots of bills and we are behind on some things right now. We are trying to catch up. We live paycheck to paycheck right now. Once we get caught up we will be able to do more things.

We get about $2000/month to live off for a family of four and that is only because DH works overtime every single day. We are in low income housing. DH works and I can't find a job that will pay enough to have extra after daycare. We hardly ever get extras. So we are definitely not comfortable. We survive but we don't like the situation. Though the amount is relevant to where you live. We are in Southern California and normal rent for a two bedroom in the area where we live is $1300 and we pay $846

My husband is the only one that works and he brings in about 4,000 a month. We are able to pay all I our bills, sometimes put into savings and have left over to do whatever we want. We are blessed.

My husband is the only one that works, he's a coal miner. He brings home about 4800 dollars a month after taxes. We live pretty comfortably. We don't have a whole lot of bills but when our house is due we don't have as much to spend that week and he just bought a new truck a couple weeks ago so that is an extra bill now. Our bills total about 1900 dollars a month not counting utilities which vary.

eta: my husband was happy to find out he made over $100,000 this year which is great for our area.

We live off of around $1300 a month. We pay $500 in rent, and we do recieve foodstamps. Around $170.00 a month.

We are comfortable, but nothing extra.

My SO grew up in a only-child family, and his parent's own a window cleaning business. He was spoiled rotten so he doesn't get the value of money. While I grew up with six children and we always just barely scraped by. We argue about money a lot...

That's cool, my SO is in construction as well, he's a contractor. Mainly building custom, residential homes, but has done some commercial work.

Right now were bringing home about 2,000
He's a forklift operator at a company and I get SSI
When he gets overtime he brings home about 3-4k (in the summer he gets about 80-90 hrs a week)

Right now we have just enough to pay bills and that's it but when he gets tons of overtime he have a lot of extra money

Does he work really long shifts? My ex-husband was going to get a job doing that, but the hours were crazy and he would be away from home more than he would be home. So he didn't take it. The money was great though.

My needs and wants are very low. I spend all my extra cash on my daughter. I bring home $1000 a month. He just got a job and will get his first paycheck tomorrow, he will bring home the same as me. We have the same type of job just work for different companies now. However Child Support will take $400 a month out of his check. I pay $325 for rent, $45 for electric, $40 for gas, and $68 for water/sewage/trash. He covers the internet, I refused to pay for internet because I can live without it. We both have jobs that allow us to get tips but I don't relieve on them. I can usually bring in anywhere from $100 to $500 extra a month according to tips. With his new job he has the same possibilities for tips.

We usually go out on date nights once a week., we are going to Applebee's tomorrow. We like to play Bingo on Saturdays ($40 at least), however lately we have scaled back on going out to get things ready for our daughter. To me my life is comfortable, I have what I want for the most part.

We live comfortably with $200 a month to put away for savings. My husband makes just over $3000 a month. I am making around $40 a month selling perfectly posh, and I break even on my home buisness. It's pretty expensive to rent here though, $868 a month plus we are paying off student loans still. We have to stick to our budget and sacrifice some luxsuries to have a savings.
