I probably would be dead
I was suicidal and when I started talking to DH I was cutting a lot and going through bad times. We weren't even dating and he made me promise I would stop hurting myself and I listened.we fell in love and I moved out,9 months later we got married and 5 months later I got pregnant
After I moved out things got so bad at home if I would have been there I would have left and probably killed myself

I'm so thankful for him

I'd probably have my BSN by now and be fully involved in advancing my career. Having a family didn't save me, I just had to put some things on hold.

I think I'm also a lot older then most of you on this thread  .

I'm really glad so many of you were able to turn your lives around for the better!

Career wise, my life is on hold too. I'm on leave while I stay at home with my children while they are young. This was something I had always wanted to do and I am so glad that I am able to do it  . My career can wait, I have many more years ahead of me.

& what do you mean by "didn't have to get help for your babies"?

I probably would have made much less mistakes if i didn't have my son. My life would have definetely been easier. But who knows, really.

I think she was responding to what I had said about if I didn't have my children right now I would currently be TTC and need help (medical, possibly adoption) because we started trying almost 5 years ago.

Yes, and it's hard not to feel a bit of regret for the freedom I lost.

i would prolly still be traveling and being a carny thats how i met my DH and then we had our first daughter and then our second and now our life is complete..im on track to getting my ged and my pastry degree if it wasnt for my DH and kids then i wouldnt be getting my life on track
