No they shouldn't warn parents that they are coming. Dcf could walk in my house anytime. I have nothing to hide. People shouldn't be given a chance to put on a show just to turn around and do that to their kids again

This! Also because it let's me know I should answer the door, that its not someone trying to sell me something.

I also think they should be trained in the difference between a messy house and a dirty house. If they question it they should take pictures and bring it back totheir boss. I have fibromyalgia, a clingy toddler and the inability to organize but my messy house is clean!

Oh that, too. I NEVER answer my door if I am home alone. Plus I'm usually braless around the house because I have a nurser, and I would like to have time to put on a bra and brush my hair so they don't think I'm super lazy and slob-like.

Luckily I can see the front porch from my living room but they can't really see me. The problem is, if I don't know you I'm still not going to answer the door!

I also hate to answer the door cause that front door area is the only part of the living room that DD is blocked from, so all the "contraband", the stuff I don't want her playing with, is in that area and looks like a hot mess!

But I have a pretty messy house because of my disabilities and my teens utter refusal to clean up after herself, so I can only clean so many times. When she was younger I worried all the time someone would call on me just because of laundry on the floor and dishes in the sink lol

If letting them eat at a table in the livingroom is neglect.. I neglect mine daily.lol

yea I was like WTF?!?!?! really? I'm like they are fed and clothed and yes my house is a maze with toys, but it isn't filthy or anything like that and now they stick around for 6 months because of them eating in the living room essentially and because I was honest and told them occasionally my kids sleep in bed with me. Which is grounds for them to supposedly take away your kids. i'm like 0__0

Mine might be cluttered up at times but it's never gonna be disgustingly dirty and filthy. It's clean just sometimes stuff gets out and it downs they put away the second were done with it. Nothing to have my kids taken away for.

Chloes going to be 4, shes has her own bed... in the middle of the night she will wake up and run into my bed... all the time.

Uhh. What? Yeah, let's take children and put them in the system for eating in the living room and sleeping with their mom when there are kids getting the living smurf beat out of them still living with their parents. Dear lord. DS eats in the living room all the time because for some reason at lunch time if you put him in his high chair he screams like he's being killed. So what? Good grief.
