2nd Birthday

Karina turns 2 on the 11th ... EEP!... I was going to get her a play kitchen but unfortunately it fell through as DHs job was extremely short on hours the last couple weeks and those checks are about to his us. I am using my gifts cards and little bit of money I have set aside for her bday. The kids had a really awesome christmas so I'm not terribly upset about the kitchen thing.

Anyway.. I cannot believe she will be 2!

They grow up so fast  

I feel your pain. My baby turns 2 on Saturday and I'm going to be a mess. Glad I still have him, the growing up part sucks! I'm sure her bday will be just as great as long as you guys are together!

Oh yes....like i said all the kids had a great Christmas and she is still so little yet she isn't exactly going to give a hoot  

You should take her somewhere fun instead of more gifts. Zoo, science Center, butterfly house, children's museum? Even out for a special fun lunch, then playing at an indoor playplace (like Mcdonald's), then feeding bread to any ducks around (we have a duck pond in our town).

Have you seen the play kiitchens you can make on pinterest with the old entertainment centers? Those can be made pretty dang cheap. Also,like the dillar store and big lots sell kitchen sets for like 20 bucks.

Last christmas we got DD a step 2 kitchen and I wish I had actually made her one like that. Also,I would check like craigs list or sonething. I see a lot on there around here.

Sure doesn't hurt to take a peek. I have checked craigslist and there is surprisingly not much around here. I have a lead on one but waiting to either hear back from a person or a scam LOL ...

Here are just some pictures of what they can look like. Its not really much bulding at all. For most of them you just need a saw,paint,knobs and sick spicket. If you just google it it will give you dierctions on some blogs,or pinterest.

OMG ... those are cute! .... it was like a well DUH moment for me .. I was thinking it was tear it apart and rearrange the pieces type thing ... well damn ... that's cute ... and Recycling!!!

Yeah,they are pretty awesome. I think next christmas I may try to sell the step 2 one just to make one of these for the girls. There is a hot pink zebra one on those photos that I LOVE! Some people used CDs as burners,others painted them on. Got knobs from like goodwills or an appliance store that had spare knobs and faucets. The sink is just a stainless steel bowl. If you can't find anything if you decide to make one ill see what I can find for ya. I just LOVE them.
