My new years resolution

posted 3rd Jan
I graduated high school in May. I started college in August i found out i was pregnant in September. I dropped out of college shortly after finding out i was pregnant. Dumbest thing i could have done. Now that im pretty far into my pregnancy and life has calmed down i am going back to school. I know that i am not going anywhere and can not provide well for my son without a degree so im starting to take online classes. I am not going to be one of the teen parents that have a baby young and never get their education forcing their child to grow up financially struggling. I am going to give my son the best life possible. I absolutely hate school and dont know what i want to be but im just going to keep reminding myself who i am doing it for and suck it up and push through. This year and for the rest of my life its all about my son and how i can make his life better than mine was. No more laziness and excuses.

You can do it! I had DD in May started college in August and currently in my 3rd year. It gets hard but you just have to manage your time and figure out a schedule that works for you.
Also, talk to a counselor about different degrees. There are quite a few gen eds that are required for almost any degree so you could probably get away with 1-2 semesters of figuring it out.
Do you have any idea of what direction you would like to go in? Like medical, law enforcement, teaching. Try starting out broad and search into different areas.

Good luck!
