Mirena Help!!!!!!!!!

I got Mirena placed almost 6 weeks ago and my husband has been getting poked slightly but yesterday he actually got cut.... Is there anything I can do to stop this and if so what???

I guess he can't go in so deep lol i dunno. Since your pregnant you cant take it out until the babys born. But i thought there were lawsuits and stuff from that now.

My thing is messed up, I had my daughter last October but it wont ix and it doesn't matter how deep he goes in he gets cut now

Oh sorry!! Yeah i thought that it sounded a little to far away for someone to pregnant and already due in October lol. Well id go to the doctor like immediately or even the ER and take it out.

I'm looking it up and it could be a placement issue.... I'm going to call my gyno in the morning

go to your doctor that place it and have them snip off the ends shorter

Sounds like you need to get the threads trimmed bc they are too long. I had to get mine trimmed because my hubby was getting scratched when I had mirena

My dr left mine long on purpose because he said they lay to the side and won't poke versus just short enough that its like a needle tip. We never had a problem, my husband said he could feel them on the side, but never poking. Maybe going shorter than you are will help, but as long as they're not too short?
