Night labor

posted 3rd Jan
At night i get the worse, i contract the most, have the moat period cramping, feel the sickest and the feeling of needing to poop. During the day i also have this but not as near as bad as night time. I find that really odd. Did any of you have this problem and end up with a night labor?

With my first I started getting what I thought were "contractions" but were actually "effacing pains" during around 7pm on the Friday night. By the Saturday morning they had completely stopped. They started up again that Saturday night but those were proper contractions by then! I gave birth at 4.45pm on the Sunday x

I get worse at night, too. More contractions, that are more painful. More hop and back pain. And I feel like I have to go to the bathroom but don't. It sucks. All I want to do is sleep, and it's so hard.

I am the exact same! It starts about 9 pm, peaks at 4 am, then goes away at about 6am. Most of my hospital trips are at night. I honestly think of this every day. I asked my doctor and she said she doesn't think it would be linked together, but sometimes I can't help but wonder! Especially since I'm only 28 weeks and they've stopped labor 3 times already lol
I would say talk to your doctors and definitely get checked for effacing if you are further along! If you need any advice on how to deal with it being more at night, pm me, I've come up with a lot of way to sleep through most of it(:

Ugh it's the worst. I went thru it for three weeks. They even gave me ambien so I could sleep...didn't help. Only thing that gave me relief and calmed them down was taking a Benadryl & taking a 20-30 minute bath.
