Ohio Arrest Records

I know my son's donor has been arrested and in trouble. We have court coming up on the 14th. he hasn't been in my son's life and is filing for visitation. How would I obtain his arrest records for the state of Ohio. This will help my case against him tremendously.

Have your attorney subpoena it.

thanks and unfortuantely i have to do this with no attorney =/ also my ex doesnt have one as far as i know either

if you ask for the records to be supenad then the judge will grant an extension until those are received and both attorneys can check them out.

i checked the website it doesnt show up but i have also checked others who i know have been in jail and they didn't show up on the website either :/

You need to file your own motions if you want them to be included. If you want his arrest records, submit a request for them.

I would recommend you hiring an attorney, whether it's the cheapest attorney in the state or not. Your courthouse should have a list of low cost attorneys or you could just google them in your area.

Try legal aide. They are for low income persons. I'm pretty sure every state has a form of legal aide or another. You might be able to find a pro bono attorney that would be willing to help you.

yes it'd have to be pro bono my husband and my income is enough for few rec activities and all our bills and needs to be covered we also have a 4 month old and we did have visitation set up outside of court about a year ago. it was starting out as tuesdays from 6-8 pm he did show up a few times but followed me around the house (at my dad's) instead of spending time with jayden. he said he was going to his dad's in kentucky and wouldn't make it for the next tuesday. we said ok that's fine. he didnt show up for the next 3 tuesdays either nor did he call. that is when i ended our agreement because i wasnt going to let him come in and out of my sons life and have my son hurt and confused. my son now has consistency with my husband who loves him as his own son and jayden knows him as daddy but calls him jonny as well as daddy we dont force anything on my son.
