Paralegal Mamas question

So I finally found my calling and I'm really excited to be finishing school. I have always been fascinated with law and i really enjoy it. Are there any paralegal or legal assistant ladies working in the field now? How do you like it? How did you go about finding a job in your profession before or right after getting out of school with little to no experience? I have worked in a small law firm as a receptionist but that was a long time ago and since then I have had receptionist or front desk positions in other offices but not another law firm. Any advice or suggestions for landing a good job as a receptionist or assistant in a law firm? Thanks in advance ladies. :0)

What degree are you getting? I am thinking of majoring in paralegal studies or child development

Legal assisting/paralegal is my degree

I'm a paralegal. I love it, it's amazing. I have a bachelors of science in government with an emphasis in legal studies. It was my school's 'pre-law' program and it came with a paralegal certificate as well.
I'm not sure how Florida is with Paralegal/Legal Assistant jobs, but I know here in Texas you're not going to make money in the area unless you have at least 5 years experience and entry level pay for it isn't much at all. It has to be something you love to do, but once you have the experience you can make a lot of money.
What school/program are you thinking about?

I'm in school for my associates in legal assisting/paralegal and then when I'm done I was trying to figure out what I want to get my bachelors in.
