Your favorite crock pot meal

I have two.

One) flank steak or chicken with a jar of salsa, cooked on high for 2 hours then on low for another 5 or 6. I shred the meat in the pot and serve it taco style with hard or soft shells, shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream. Then I make black beans as a side.

Two) pork ribs with a thing of BBQ sauce and a half a cup of water, mesquite seasoning, salt, pepper. Cook on low 8 hours. Then I toss potatoes, celery, quartered onions, carrots and a bell pepper in olive oil, salt, pepper, Johnny's and bake at 400 for the last hour on a deep baking sheet sprayed with pam, stirring occasionally.

pot roast is my favorite meal lol, but i make pork loin in the crock pot with carrots green beans and potatoes and the sesonings garlic,onion salt, salt, pepper and maybe a teaspoon of lemon juice  .....now im hungry again lol

I wish DH would eat vegetables I love them and he won't eat them so I am limited on what I can cook, that recipe looks amazing

ty hun my hubby is the same way but after marrying me he eats it lol, but you can always make it and tell him to pick it out you need to enjoy the meal too lol

I have been with DH five years and I cook an awesome chicken enchilada and he will not touch it since I put sour cream in it. He is so picky, most of the time we do hamburger helper or frozen meals. I usually add a salad or carrots as my side, so I get the goods but he will not eat mixed stuff at all he is so stubborn and comes from a family that does fried Chicken and Mac and cheese every other night lol

lol sounds like my hubby he hates peanuts but loves peanut butter lol i try to tell him peanuts once you chew them up taste like peanut butter lol oh well you cant please picky men haha

Exactly, I am a really good cook but use other things to bring out flavor And he won't touch them because they have green...I love and hate it since I would be a vegetarian if I could. But I love him and have gotten use to his meat and no veggie diet lol

now i love my meat lol, this is sneaky but i dont tell mine whats in it and he eats it and dont even know like cream cheese and shredded ham in my potato soup he thinks its bacon he hates ham lol and cream cheese

Oh wow, I would love to trick him into veggies and other things besides meat. How do you hide the ingredients? He is always up in my business when I am cooking lol

lol like meatloaf put some green peppers in it and say its part of the stuffing mix or soup is the best way to hide things lol sometimes not so easy

He loves my stuffing so maybe I will try that lol. He needs the nutrition but refuses to eat it. He likes bread and meat bahahaha
