Eh I don't understand why people have to get their panties in a wad....if you don't want to discuss the documentaries then don't respond?
The fact that she kept going on and on comes across insecure and bitter...
I doubt you started this thread to sham anyone...Just felt like talking about topics you are interested in/passionate about...
I lovvvve fat sick and nearly dead raw juices are awesome!! The Greater Good is really unbiased compared to anyother vaccine documentary.
I will have to watch some of the others...forks over knives was good too...I love my meat tho and am closer to paleo then anything..no beef or pork tho...I had a piggy as a pet and just cant do it

Lol ikr. I was just curious what others thought of the documentaries. I watch many kinds of them about all kinda stuff.
I don't think I could completely cut out meat but over the years my body just doesn't respond well to beef or pork and Ot just doesn't taste right to me much anymore.
Know any other good ones to watch?

about ppl who live off food from dumpster diving...it is interesting but will make you crazy about the amount of food thrown away by big chain stores instead of being donated to homeless shelters etc.

About the early forensics tool known as the nutshell studies...basically dollhouses that recreated crime scenes, it moves slow at times but is really interesting, especially when they shownthe amazing details of the dollhouses.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1347314. Children of the pyre
About children who work to help maintain India's biggest cremation ground. tnis doc was interesting but also heartbreaking when you see how poorly these kids are treated and the massive responsibility put on them. It is graphic so dont watch with LO.

Heartbreaking....i still get a lump in my throat just thinking about this story. This doc was created by the best friend of a man who was murdered by his pregnant ex gf. The ending is so tragic.

Children of the Pyre is very biased. I met some of these children last time I went to bathe in the Ganges and I will be seeing a lot of them when I move to India next week. They are better off than most of the children over there and they know how to run a good scam (selling shrouds). They will be the ones running touts and stealing your money when they are older, but at least they can feed their family.

Food inc. .....if you havent already.
Dont eat beef or pork then! I substitute turkey for both...I think they actually arent supposed to use growth hormones in turkey....but alot of turkeys are still kept in horrible conditions ...Just how they treated the animals made me not want meat for a LONG time....besides wild caught
...and of course free range if I knew it was legit
I eat alot of ground turkey...turkey jerky...turkey sausage...turkey bacon...you can make your own turkey jerky with a dehydrator mmmmm..

Cool I'm.gonna watch some of those. I've seen Dumpster diving before but not brave enough to do that lol. I shop at Earthfare. They use all their older foods and produce to make food. No waste
