Quoting AndreaDanae:" <blockquote><b>Quoting justanothamotha:</b>" If Dr is worried over spitting up ... [snip!] ... pretty good burber. I could try less more often but he sleeps 4-5 hours usually twice a day and dont really wanna wake him up."I wouldn't wake him to do that either - I mean during waking hours.
Quoting AndreaDanae:" Well my month old son has decided to stay up for the last 6 hours. He is so tired but wont sleep. He ... [snip!] ... Im starting to lose it. I hate feeling this way. Wish I could walk away but we are at my mils tonight and everyone is sleeping."probably over tired, once theyre over tired its near impossible to get them to sleep, try white noise aswell as a paci and rocking while walking up and down with him swaddled laying on his side or belly (in your arms)
Quoting Red Bottom:" babies eat because they're hungry and they're supposed to gain weight. I would consider getting a new pedi. "I would consider it was well OP.. His pedi seems stupid to me. Do realize this, not everything the doctor(s) say maybe best for your child..Use your own common sense, if your child is hungry..feed them. This is kinda basic lol
Quoting AndreaDanae:" Im feeding when he is hungry and how ever much he wants. I had a wic appt today and asked if he gained ... [snip!] ... like my son was fat or I was a bad mama for over feeding him. Ive never had any issues with her ever with my niece and nephew."Yah - well our 1st pedi came highly recommended by everyone - I should have realized they all formula fed - she was HIGHLY unsupportive of breastfeeding in ways you can't imagine. By 8 weeks I KNEW I needed a different Dr for sure & I should have listened to my gut much sooner than that. She was CONSTANTLY undermining me nursing, giving me wrong info, etc. It was pathetic.
