Strange. He's old enough to eat more than that, isn't he? My little guy is almost 4 months and eats 4oz every time he eats. Doc said he's perfect weight and all and no worries. Kids are always growing, especially babies. I feed on demand at this age and have never had a problem. None of the three have EVER been overweight or had any medical problems. In fact, I have a six year old now and she is thin! I would never not feed my baby if they were screaming to eat. That's just my opinion. Sorry you had a rough night

He is only a month. Most of the time he eats 4 especi as lly when he sleeps 4 hrs but sometimes he only will be hungry for 2 or 3. I will continue feeding him 4 when he wants it because I will not do last night again just because he isnt suppose to be my chunky monk. Lol

probably over tired, once theyre over tired its near impossible to get them to sleep, try white noise aswell as a paci and rocking while walking up and down with him swaddled laying on his side or belly (in your arms)

I would consider it was well OP.. His pedi seems stupid to me. Do realize this, not everything the doctor(s) say maybe best for your child..Use your own common sense, if your child is hungry..feed them. This is kinda basic lol

Im feeding when he is hungry and how ever much he wants.

I had a wic appt today and asked if he gained to much wait since his birth and he is at the 50 percentile so im pretty sure he is fine.

My dr made me feel like my son was fat or I was a bad mama for over feeding him. Ive never had any issues with her ever with my niece and nephew.

Yah - well our 1st pedi came highly recommended by everyone - I should have realized they all formula fed - she was HIGHLY unsupportive of breastfeeding in ways you can't imagine. By 8 weeks I KNEW I needed a different Dr for sure & I should have listened to my gut much sooner than that. She was CONSTANTLY undermining me nursing, giving me wrong info, etc. It was pathetic.
