I had an ex who took it before I was ever with him. It worked for him with barely any side effects. But when the Dr handed me papers to sign to ensure I wouldn't get pregnant and made me pledge that I was using two forms of birth control to prevent pregnancy and then reading up on all the side effects...i decided it wasn't for me. Plus people who get prescribed that usually have like a strong severe case...and I don't. I mean I have it, it's noticeable, but not some of the cases that I saw on youtube etc.

It goes much further than a pledge now. My cousin is on it. 2 forms of bc and she doesn't have sex ever! She has to do online tests evey month and call the doctor evey month to get the prescription. It's a huge pain in the ass

yeah that's exactly what I was told to do. So I was like, um no thanks. They also have to have you come in like every month or every other month to draw your blood to make sure you are okay.

Jeez that sucks. I guess after you are off of it they have to keep a close eye on you mentally too. Don't even know why it's offered
