re: Tired of my battle with acne. I want a new face.

I have the same issue and I don't.foundation at all. I wash my face etc...and I didn't get acne.till I was 18 I'm 29 now.and its horrible and embarrassing.

My face is red all the time and the breakouts never clear up ever

I know you hate not wearing it but it can be making your problem worse. Acne can be infections. And it is not breathing right. But at very least be using a clean applicator each time.

Also- naturally this is what we do for my husband
Clean the skin and the we rub lemons and let the skin dry with nothing on it overnight. Also some sunlight is good - just needs to be on bare skin

Trying keeping the foundation off as much as possible. I know it makes you feel insecure but that really makes it 10x worse. If you insist on covering certain pimples then use a concealer pen with salicylic acid. At the very least you will be able to let the clear areas of your face breathe while treating the existing acne.

I used to have the same problem and although my acne was never bad (I never got whiteheads and never had more than a few zits at a time but it was enough to get me wearing foundation nonstop for several years) I felt terrible all the time. I noticed that the more I swam in the ocean the better my skin got. I guess it was the salt water. I also noticed that the less often I used face wash the better things got. I would just remove my makeup with water before going to bed to let my skin breathe and that stopped new breakouts from coming up.

It sounds like your skin is super sensitive. Just let it breathe and maybe try using water and moisturizer.

See, I've tried the no makeup approach before, but I still broke out. Now my skin is so embarrassing, there's no way I'm letting people see my bare skin.

It's not a quick fix. Not quick at all. The only quick fix I've seen is that medicine and i don't even know how it's atill on the market- it's that scary

When I go out I put a natural mineral powder on when I get home I take it off.

My freinds mom is a dermatologist and gave me free smurf nothing worked at all.

I've done proactive it didn't work.

For me its my whole face, cheeks, chin beside my nose my neck. The only place I don't Breakout is around my mouth which is since I smoke

Have you tried skin ID? My sister used it & it worked for her.. I used it a few times & it didn't seem to dry out my skin at all either.

I understand you can't go out without makeup.. but have you tried switching up your makeup? To a different brand?

I think it takes a zit 10 days to form a head. It can take a couple weeks after an initial outbreak for everything to start to heal .

Yep tried several brands. Clinique, Mac, Makeup Forever, Bare Minerals, and every store brand there is. And I use it all up, which lasts about 2 months, so I DO give it time to see if there is any change.

Pretty much all of the zits I get are whiteheads or pustules. Every once in a while I get a big painful one that feels really deep,the kind you can't pop or do anything with lol, but usually it's the ones I mentioned above.

I am reading some facts on my phone and its kind of a coincidence that this one came up but it says that olive oil nd lemon juice are good for a facial treatment.

I know all too well how you feel. I've been battling it since I was like 10-11, I am currently 26. I hate it. I went to the Dr. He wanted me to take Accutane. Nooo thank you. So he gave me some pills or whatever and warned me it would be expensive and it was. But my insurance needed something from him to give to the pharmacy etc. etc. so I never was able to get the medication. I need to go back and get it.

Look up the oil cleansing method on crunchybetty.com   its worth a try!!

That's the scary ass med I was thinking. That stuff is nuts!
