Have you tried lactation cookies or Mother's milk tea?? If not I would try that and nurse as much as possible.

They told me my daughter wasn't getting enough milk because she was only in the 7th percentile for her age and weight so I started her on Earth's Best organic rice cereal. I kind of regret it now. If she seems satisfied, and healthy then I wouldn't stress on it. I personally don't feel that doctors always know whats best. They are so used to seeing formula fed babies and expect nursed babies to be as fat. As long as shes not losing weight and she's happy, she should be fine. Drink lots of water and nurse every chance you get. When it's time to sleep, nurse her to sleep, when she gets fussy, nurse, nurse in between nursing lol. Pumps can help but SHE is your best bet to up your supply. If she uses a paci I would almost replace it with boob lol that's how I got my daughter off the paci and it also upped my supply.

I eat the fruit kind that already flavored but I find that when I eat something high in carbs I produce more milk. The main key is to drink a lot of water. I drink over 84 oz of water every day to keep hydrated.

Postnatals are good too. Calcium, Iron, Vitamin C, and Postnatals is what I take.

I've switched pumps recently and it takes a min for your body to get used them. Its easy for you to have a let down with your baby but when pumping you really have to relax and take a min to just be calm. After a few days or so you should get more milk and your supply should increase. What pump are you using

It sounds weird & maybe it's just me, but laying on my back for about 20-30 mins fills me up. Like if I slept like that for an hour my boobs would be fully engorged. That's how I got my supply to go up when DD was going through a growth spurt & would empty me. As long as your little one isn't losing weight & is a good eater, don't worry about what the doctors say. DD just had her 6 month check-up & her weight isn't where it should be for her height & age but the doctor said we don't need to worry because the charts are based on formula fed babies, my LO has absolutely no problem eating (it's honestly her favorite thing to do), & she could just be slender like her daddy.
