Ovulation test help?

okay so yesterday I had no line but the test line, today I had both lines but its still a shade lighter than the test line, my ob said I might not ovulate because i just got off BC... if a line shows up does that mean I am getting close to ovulating? or does no line and a lighter line pretty much the same thing?

Some people, like me, the line gets darker as you get closer. Some it's just BAM positive.

Mine never got darker, a lot of the times they don't, it's not like taking pregnancy tests. I will get lines then nothing for a few days, and then bam I will get a positive.. I will test twice a day. I usually wait til my period ends and then wait 4 days til I start doing the twice a day thing.

Mine would get darker and datker id keep testing. They'd start light and get darker till positive then lighter again.
