James for a girl's middle name??
posted 2nd Jan
If our baby is a girl her name will be Laila. I'm having a hard time finding a middle name that flows well with it. I'm running out of time....so I need help! My brother's name is James, but we call him Jim, so James never gets used. I really like the sound of Laila James...is it too weird? Any other suggestions are welcome too! Thanks

I wouldn't do it, but I don't think it's horrible especially since its a loved ones name, not just random

Jacqueline has the same meaning as James but is a traditional female name.

Keep the boys names for the boys. You wouldn't give your son the middle name Lilah.
Jane is a nice alternative.

I wouldn't do it personally but I've seen it on a little girl before and thought it was cute (Chloe James).

I normally would say no, but I think Laila James flows pretty well. Laila Jane sounds nice too, like some of the other mamas suggested.
