Oh. Not the ones used here because it said she would be in the 10th percentile, but she's actually in the 25th. Also when they enter the weight and height in itoes with all the other previous height and weigh ins, and thats how they get.the percentile. I wouldn't be worry though. My daughter was always smaller too and they were never concerned. And twins are generally smaller.

I'm not worried. I've always been a small person so I'm sure if their was something really wrong with DD he would catch it.

I wouldnt think thats too bad for twins. they weigh more than my daughter did at 9 months. my daughter was just 16 pounds at a year old.

it is easiest if they are printed out. Use the one for your child's gender then drawl a line downward at their age and across at their wt. where the lines intersect is what your child ranks.

My oldest was a prem - he 9 month checkup she was 15lbs 11oz 26" (i just looked on my journal)... Every baby is different. My almost 5 month old is currently 16lbs 3oz.... they all grow differently.

OP
based on your original post, it sounded like they've fallen off their curve
i think it's one thing if they're low, and have always been low
it's another thing if they drop off their curve ...
that might indicate something has changed.

based on what you said, they eat ENORMOUS amounts of food! holy smurf, 6 oz x 7 times per day = 42 ounces?
i think that's a lot!

what did your pedi recommend? would it make sense to consider fortified formula? maybe higher cal?
if they're eating this much, and they're this small, it's either a) genetics or b) something else going on

They have always been smaller but never off of the bottom of the chart. They were really good sized at birth especially being 4 wks early and twins. Eli was 6 lb 2 oz 19.25" and Ella was 5 lbs 7 oz and 18.5" They eat a ton! There isn't any formula that they can switch to because they are both lactose intolerant and soy causes sever constipation with them. They are very active. They crawl pull up on things and even climb!

they sound awesome!
it's great they have such healthy appetites, too.
you mentioned lactose intolerance... maybe then it's worthwhile to investigate some more? could the lactose intolerance itself be a symptom of some other gastrointensitanl condition?
i guess what I'm saying is maybe look into getting them to be seen by a gastroenterologist.

That chart doesn't seem right. According to it 2% would be 30-32lbs and 50% is 38lbs at 2 years old and IMO that is pretty heavy for a 2 year old.

Cadence was 17lbs 13oz and 27.5in. Every baby is different and grows at their own rate.
