sex after baby

How long after you had your baby did sex stop hurting. I had DS almost 4 months ago and anytime DH and I try sex I have to stop because it hurts so bad. I just want sex damnit  

I don't remember how long it took after we had the baby for it to stop hurting but it was a little awkward the first few times.  

When i wasn't bleeding anymore we were back at it.. have you tried you on top so you can get control the depth, speed, etc.?

I was wondering the same thing   DS is almost 3 months... but OMG it hurt when DH and I have sex :/ it's no fun... last night we tried powering through... but in the end it hurt too bad that I couldn't orgasm while we were having sex... course DH is AMAZING and a gentleman so he took care of me after ;) I'm thinking I'll have to pick up a bottle of lube at the store tomorrow.. but since we didn't have any here it wasn't as much fun as it could've been...

It was around 6 or 7 months for me. I thought it was always going to be that way! It got better tough.

No we haven't, we'll have to do that next time.

It's a lot easier on you if you can control it all. Best advice is to have him sitting slightly reclined so you can use his shoulders to help you support yourself & take it slow so you can see what you can handle

Yeah it sucks. And I feel bad for DH. We do other stuff but I can tell he wants it just as bad lol.

It took me almost a year after my first one for sex to stop hurting. about 6 months with my second. And with my 3rd, it took about 3 months, but I tore really bad with her, and I was expecting it to take longer.
