Tremor ???

posted 2nd Jan
I just poured myself a drink and when I went to pick up my drink I noticed my hand was shaking pretty severely.
It's not noticeable when it's at rest but the second I hold onto something, it shakes pretty badly.
It's only my right hand.... and yeh only when im holding things.

Has anyone had this before? What was it? Did it go away etc?

My dad has Parkinson's and years ago that is how his started out. Just a slight rhythmic tremor in his right hand.
Now it happens to me sometimes and I worry lol.

Maybe your blood sugar is low?

It happens to me after sex for putting too much weight on my wrists. It shakes for an hour or two for me.

My whole side from my face down to my hand will spasm and shake and go numb. I guess its from adrenaline or stress or something. Thats what my doctors have said (though they could just be trying to give me an easy diagnosis knowing i have anxiety problems). Even if I'm not stressed I get symptoms similar to an anxiety attack. I could be fine, happy as can be and bam. My side is a live wire. It's worse if I'm talking or trying to use the muscles in my arm or hand but ok if I'm still. This happens to me once in a blue moon so essentially it hasn't gone away per say but is very sporadic.
Sorry if this wasn't helpful. It's not quite what you described but kind if similar.

Yeah I read Parkinson's.. I wasn't sure.

It shouldn't be low blood sugar because I just ate..

It is pretty hot here though.. maybe it's that.

I'm on Holiday's at the moment, I go back tomorrow..
But by then it will probably have subsided, so then i'll just look like a weirdo

Parkinsons is a far stretch from just a tremor but that is how my dad noticed something was going on.

no, you wouldn't. They'd likely do a neuro work up, including an MRI.

MS causes tremors, and it's something that comes and goes. NOT saying you ahve MS>..just that it's common for neuro issues to come and go. It's not ER worthy...so going in while you have symptoms may not be possible. but..you should still get a workup mama.

((hugs)) I am not trying to scare you. but really....tremors are not normal, and should be looked into
