How many bottles?
posted 2nd Jan
I am planning on exclusively breastfeeding. I was planning on not using bottles at all, but my first son had problems with latching on, so I have a breastpump and was going to get some bottles just in case this little boy has the same problems. I just don't know how many bottles I should get since he will only use them if he has problems and he won't use them that often. How many should I get? I have 2 right now.

I would say buy four more if you already have two. If you end up needing more you can buy them later.

Honestly I have only had a total of 4 bottles for this DS I had a zillion with my others, but when I had this one I bought 2 and then later another 2 and I haven't had a need for any more than that. Also my DS was formula fed (after 3 weeks of nursing), so I would say 2 would be fine for you for now.

just buy the cheap 3 pack from walmart for 3 bucks. they are the only bottles that didnt make my son spit up. i'll never bu expensive bottles again. and if you dont need them at least you didnt spend a fortune

I exclusively breast feed and I have 4 bottles... I really could get by with just 2 or 3 but since I sometimes have engorgement/ extra production I often need to pump an extra bottle every other day or so... so right now it's handy having 4 since I currently have 2 storing milk in my fridge and I'm pumping another right now...

I have 3 brestflow bottles in the small size and 3 in the larger size. but I swap out the nipples on the big size and only use the slow flow. I used them every so pften with my daughter and will with my son as well. I wouldn't get to many
