I'm starting to wonder if she's pissed he's with me because one day he was her baby and the next he was taking care of a family (DD isn't his). But we took our time with our relationship and DD started calling him dad on her own, which he wanted. I also don't think she likes that he let me quit my job... but previous to officially moving in together I let him live with me and he only pitched in on groceries, and I paid everything else. Give and take, you know? That money that's invested SO wants to buy a house with, but MIL is concerned he's going to spend it on something for "us." Dafuq right?

She's probably just like mine and pissed that you made him grow up. Sad thing is, almost 7 years later mine still isn't over it. She wouldn't even come to the boys first bday party because I was going to be there!

That's ridiculous! SO has a lame computer game, and I don't know what it's called lol. We have an xbox and ps3 though, I only play COD on xbox and I only have one game for PS3 so far (Ratchet and Clank), lol. A couple summers ago I put DD to bed early and MIL told me it was because I loved video games more than her
