rice

so besides teriyaki, soy sauce, and sweet n sour sauce, what do you put on your rice? im looking for something different, im getting bored with the same thing all the time.

My husband loves to mix his with salsa and sour cream.

Veggie curry

Lemon pepper and fresh parsley

I like to mix a little butter and sugar in my rice.

Put tomato sauce on it and make orange (Mexican) rice! Yum!
(though you do make this rice differently than white rice, just throwing that out there lol)

Mexican rice? Pepper, a can of tomato sauce, cumin, Consomé. And half a bag of frozen veggies.

Any curries go well on rice..
I also make "layered" rice meals like one called "Maqlouba' which is meat, veggies and rice layered and then inverted onto a plate..
Also, Biryani...
Okra stews.
Lentils.

The possibilities are endless. We eat rice with EVERYTHING every single day.

brown rice with butter and peas

rice made with chicken broth instead of water

I'm Spanish so I usually do the regular white rice depending on what side I made (meat, veggies etc)

Rice with beans.
Rice with corn.
Rice with chicken in it.
Yellow/orange rice.

The list goes on

I like it pretty plain.. Olive oil and a tiny but of salt.
