Potty training, im ready to give up!

My daughter is 3. She knows how to hold her urine, she knows when to pee. She will gladly take herself to the bathroom whenever she has to go.. But shes developed a habit... She still has accidents, which is fine. I dont mind that. But she has one pair of panties she adores. She is now peeing in EVERY pair of panties that i put on that isnt that one pair. purposely. I wouldnt mind it so much but we only have one damn pair of those tiana underwear and if she has an accident in them im screwed because she will then pee on every other pair.. Any ideas on what to do? Im at my wits end with this!

My daughter is the same way. Not THOSE Ariel panties mommy I want the OTHER Ariel ones. She regressed back to diapers actually so im not much help but best of luck.

Scour the internet for duplicates of the coveted Tiana panties or put her back in diapers. I haven't been in this position personally, it's just the only two options I can really think of. If it were me, I'd probably sit her down and tell her that you can't find any other panties like the ones she adores, so she'll have to go back to diapers until she decides she won't pee in her other panties anymore. Or something to that effect...

What worries me is the sense that she is controlling the situation...might be a power thing...

Take the control away from her. Tell her since she cant be a big girl and stop having accidents then she gets to wear diapers. My daughter did that and she is just coming back around to potty training. She is a "diva" too.

That sucks! Hopefully she gets over it very soon. My LO has to pick her own or she will flip out.

Shes been in diapers the past two days out of sheer annoyance on my part.. and guess what, other than morning diaper.. Dry! Put her in panties.. she pisses in them... wtf?
