Getting tubes tied... maybe.

This is my fourth pregnancy, I have two children and have had one miscarriage..
My doctor called me today after my ultrasound and recommended that I get my tubes tied.. Im only 19, but this will be my third c section and he seems like that's the big issue, but I also have a lot of health issues, and had some issues this pregnancy, I want more children, my husband does not, but ive went back and fourth with getting this done, I don't think my body could handle another pregnancy, but Ive always wanted a big family, but I know its probably best for me to get my tubes tied... Anyone else in this situation? Im just awfully confused and don't want to have such a permanent thing holding over my head I guess.. Im not sure what to think.  

You could get then clipped instead. But, there's a much higher chance of getting pregnant with just the clips.

Your still really young to do something so permanent. I would suggest getting a long term birth control and using condoms. Then make the decision in a few years.

I am 22 and I am FOR SURE 100% done after Jay is born.

If you are unsure i wouldn't do it, or even get a couple other opinions.

19 is pretty young to get your tubes tied. My high risk dr wouldn't even have that conversation with me until I was 35 which isn't until a few more years. I've had 2 previous c-sections. My latest c-section was a L shaped incision which makes my uterus have a weak spot. It's a big issue because I have a long history of PTL and early dilation which i need a cerclage placed during pregnancy, a few previous miscarriages, and a stillbirth. With all of that, she's still ok with me having one more baby if i want to. Your history doesn't sound all that complicated to me, but obviously i'm not your dr.

Your only 19 with that many kids? Dang girl! Get them tubes tied and start exploring the world! It's more to it than just making babies I promise lol
