She's trying to protect you and your child. It's no coincidence that everyone else in this thread agrees. You're the only one here who can't seem to understand you're willingly putting yourself and your child in a terrible situation. Love doesn't end in violence, by the way.

Nope, I didn't. Four pages is kind of long. Whatever the case, something happened where police found it within reason to arrest him so chances are someone had marks on them or he was acting a complete fool when they got there. None of that should be acceptable.

Well, I read the original post and it didn't sound like she as being a bitch, it sounded like she was doing what's best for you and your child if you can't manage to get yourself out of this situation on your own.

I apologize for assuming you were hit but my point still stands: you and yoru child surely deserve better than someone who has been arrested for DV.

I'm sorry but I just can't believe that officers would arrest someone for smoking a cigarette outside. There has to be more to this story. If you really, honestly believe he has done absolutely nothing wrong then hire a lawyer.

Apparently she's had a few complaints, one of her superiors is calling me to discuss the issue, and to find me someone who's not going to laugh at me (like she did today) and tell me that I must have battered wife syndrome because "I'm acting crazy"
He's a good person, and an amazing father, I'm not going to ruin everything for one smurffy drunken night.

I called them crying, so they sent someone out, and said since I was afraid they had to take him. He has a public defender, but I've been getting advice from my lawyer from a past issue so he's been a huge help

Haha, thanks. I seriously do not know a single person that shares my birthday. I even looked up a study once that published the rarest days to be born on and January 7th was one of them. Apparently more people are born in August and September than any other time during the year.

She does, I swear I was bringing home 30 pictures a week from pre-k. She loves to collage, and pain. I actually got her tons of craft kits for christmas and her birthday, because she's obsessed

That's exactly how I was. I was always told I was the best at drawing in elementary school (and well into high school). I can draw anything I look at and make it look exactly the same. My hand-eye coordination is somehow amazing despite my many flaws, lol. It's just one of those things...

I think everyone is born really good at something and for me that was art. When I began looking into the whole Capricorn thing I couldn't help but think, "Hey, that sounds just like me!" Not only are they supposedly good at art but they are also methodical, thoughtful, kind, caring, suspicious, analytical, conscientious, etc.

I mean I still don't really buy into it all but I'll be damned if I don't fit the description for Capricorn

I'm a capricorn as well, and I suck at art. I don't fit the mold at all.   I was supposed to be born a Sagittarius, so maybe I fit better there.
