Membrane Sweep

I had a membrane sweep done this morning, just curious who else has had it done and if it worked and if so how soon after did you go into labour? Tia!!  

I had it done 3:30pm Dec 29, went to the zoo and walked for a little over 2 hours that night, got home and in bed around 11:30 and contractions started. Gave birth 5am Dec 31.

I had one on a Friday. I had contractions regularly about 10 minutes apart...for a whole week. The next Friday, I got induced.

I had one done 8 days and the day before I went into labor.

First one caused some contractions but that stopped pretty quick. I woke up in the monring after the second one to my bloody show.

I had two. The second one my water broke that night. Could've been coincidence though. Hopefully yours will work  

I had 3 @ 38..39..and 40 weeks. Was scheduled for induction at 40 + 1 and went into labor in my own at 40 wks about 8hrs after the last sweep. Don't know if it was from the sweep or just cause baby was ready

With my first pregnancy, I had several and they did nothing (though, my cervix hadn't started to prepare and I was only about 37.5 weeks, I had to be induced for medical reasons).

With my second, I had a stretch and sweep done at 37 weeks, 6 days. My cervix was 2 cm dilated and I don't remember effacement, maybe 50%? I had sex a couple hours later, so I think that helped  . I was in labour within 36 hours and my son was born at 38 weeks, 2 days (less then 2 hours into that day  ). I was very happy, I was going to have to be induced soon because of health concerns.

I had it done on a Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning I went into labor.
